AJ Bear made it to Mexico November 2017 with the GFT boyz for their annual golf trip – and went again in November 2018. I know the boys really miss AJ. It’s very endearing that they ask to take AJ Bear with them on their trips. The first trip back to Mexico was emotionally traumatic for them. They kept on having flashbacks of November 2016, when AJ had his first seizure, whilst on vacation with them, before the recurrence of the cancer could even be seen on the MRI. Having AJ Bear on subsequent trips has given them comfort and, I believe, keeps them grounded.
