AJ Bear was helping make 38 survival kits this morning as part of an initiative with the Women’s Portfolio (WP), in conjunction with the Regional Disaster Management Team (RDMT). We were able to make personalized survival kits, at a fraction of the cost of readily available commercialized kits. Additionally, there was an abundance of laughter and storytelling, as well as educational information, whilst we created the kits. Team effort!
I highly recommend every household to have this kit, which can be grabbed on your way out of your house, in the event of an emergency situation. Even better, store an additional kit in your vehicle. I’m hoping that none of us will ever need to use it- but as the boyscout in AJ would say “always be prepared!”
