This time last year the girls and I, along with AJ Bear, did the Inca trail and climbed Machu Picchu and explored Sacred Valley. It was one of the first things on our proverbial bucket list and seemed fitting as we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. The girls were very kind to agree to do the climb, but afterwards I received clear orders from them that sleeping in freezing wet tents and trekking all day with blisters on their feet was not their idea of fun. Sigh. Not very adventurous of them. At least they are honest.
